Byron Castillo is missing from Ecuador’s World Cup squad. The right-back was the subject of arbitration at the international sports court, CAS, in an attempt to keep Ecuador out of the finals in Qatar. Castillo would not have the right citizenship. Ecuador has been fined 100,000 euros for showing false documents and will start the next qualifying round with three penalty points.
For national coach Gustavo Alfaro, the problem was one reason not to pick Castillo in the World Cup squad. Among other things, he chose midfielder Carlos Gruezo (Augsburg) and striker Enner Valencia (Fenerbahce).

Enner Valencia is the player Orange will focus on in the second group game on Friday, November 25th. The striker is currently the top scorer in the Turkish Super League.
