A video of a Mexican allegedly breaking the law and illegally importing alcohol into Qatar has gone viral on social media, even though the Arab country is strictly prohibited from selling alcoholic beverages in stadiums and the surrounding area.
Via the TikTok platform, the Mexican tourist shared the video in which he can be seen calmly at the airport of Qatar while holding a Mexican national team shirt in which he hid a bottle of alcohol.

Qatar 2022 is the first football World Cup to be hosted in Qatar, a Muslim country with strict alcohol controls, posing a challenge to the organizers of an event sponsored by a single beer brand, Budweiser.
And although the Mexican apparently only brought a bottle of alcohol to the country, the netizen shared another video on TikTok, assuming that another ethyl drink entered the Arab country.
On social media, Mexican netizens expressed their anger at the young Mexican for disobeying the law in the Muslim country.
Likewise, YouTuber Gabriel Montiel, better known as Werevertumorro, also shared his anger at his compatriot’s behavior.
