Rugby fans are hailing the Bridgend lad as a serious star after a video of him making an impressive run with the ball went viral on TikTok.

The under-14 Bridgend shared a video of one of their players walking through the group trying to deal with it, racking up 1.1 million views and 75.8k likes.

The clip was set to ‘Own Brand Freestyle’ and shows the young player making his way through just about everyone trying to knock the ball out of their hands. But he starts a ferocious run, passing through almost all of them until they finally attack him. At least he didn’t go down without a fight…

The comments section is full of praise for her clear athletic ability.

One person simply said, “Unstoppable.” Another joked: “This guy goes anywhere and can’t seem to stop him.”

Someone was very impressed with her talent at such a young age, writing: “Under 14?” Someone else said, “Brother should score around 10 tries a game if he does that much at once.”

Another praised her efforts, commenting: “Wow.”

The group videos of Bridgend Sports Under 14s have proved to be popular on TikTok, with another video accumulating 875,200 plays and 39,200 I like, where other of its young players shined on the field, moving at lightning speed in an attempt to add up points in a game. People were also impressed with the boy’s efforts, with several commenting that his performance was “legendary”.

Someone also said after watching the video: “Rugby is underrated”.

Bridgend Sports Under 14s has over 6,800 followers on TikTok, where they regularly post emotional moments involving their players.







Bridgend Sports Rugby Football Club is a Welsh rugby union club based in Bridgend, founded in 1938 when founded by Victor Blick. Bridgend has had at least two other clubs throughout its history, giving them local competition.

The club is also a member of the Welsh Rugby Union and currently competes in the WRU Division 2 West Central.
