A Greg Joseph field goal in overtime gave the Vikings an epic win. after his team went into halftime 33-0 and came back from 36-18 in the fourth quarter.
With this win, the Vikings cemented the Buffalo Bills’ comeback in 1993 against the Houston Oliers. when they won 41-38, 32 points behind.
Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins had just 44 passing yards in the half, though he finished with 460 and two touchdowns on two interceptions.
Dalvin Cook also shone with a spectacular 64-yard touchdown run in Forced Overtime, paving the way for a historic victory for his team.
With the Colts, Matt Ryan launched for 182 yards and a touchdown, but his level plummeted in the second half, as did the rest of his teammates.
It was an absurd game in Minneapolis where the Vikings made all sorts of mistakes in the first half. Two missed punts and an interception against Cousins helped the Colts score three touchdowns, which, along with four field goals, sent them light to a solid 33–0 lead.
Cousins threw for just 44 yards in the first half of the game and the Vikings returned to the locker room to berate the crowd.
However, everything changed in the second half with an exceptional reaction from the Vikings.

And that despite everything, the Colts managed to contain the momentum of the Vikings’ response and went into the fourth-third with an 18-point lead.
The locals turned the game around with touchdowns from Kendrick Osborn and CJ Ham in the third quarter, and the final third couldn’t have started better for Kevin O’Connell’s men. Cousins led the Vikings 46 yards to a Justin Jefferson touchdown.
The Colts lost clarity and chained a series of serious fouls and mismanagement that gave the Vikings more and more confidence. Even the game at 36-36 with a spectacular touchdown from Dalvin Cook after 64 yards with 2.15 minutes remaining.
Manager Jeff Saturday was furious. He assisted his Colts, despite regaining possession in overtime after the Vikings won the coin toss, they were unable to advance a yard.
