Didier Deschamps was probably very angry because of the deliveries that were not respected by his player, to whom he tried to explain everything in a way that was nothing short of peremptory. It required the intervention of Deschamps’ faithful assistant, Guy Stephan, who tried to ease the tension, calming the technical steward and explaining in detail to Thuram junior what he was doing wrong.
