Water Rugby took TikTok by storm this week, with the incredible variation of the game attracting attention from fans across the world.

The game is played on a 35x40m floating platform, has two eight-minute halves, and you can only score tries by diving into the water.
The video is from the Tournoi de 6 Stations, a French competition that hosts summer and winter rugby festivals lasting up to four days. The winter tournament is held on snow and ice.
One of the most popular recent events was the Eden Park ‘WateRugby’ held in Toulouse at Port de la Dorado. There was a tournament of legends, in which Simon Shaw, Louis Picamoles and François Trinh-Duc participated.
The game features 40 rugby symbols, which are divided into four teams. They play each other for an hour in front of over 800 people, eight players on each team at any one time.
