Bayern Munich cannot beat Leipzig in the Bundesliga

The result keeps Bayern in the lead with six points ahead of Leipzig, which is third. Freiburg, who are in second place, can come within two points of Bayern if they beat Bayern this Saturday Wolfsburg.

The two teams entered the field with great defensive discipline, leaving little space and pressing, which meant there weren’t many dangerous situations in the areas.

Bayern had a slight advantage and also had the first goal chance, with a shot from a post Serge Gnabry in minute 8 a pass from Leroy Sané.

Leipzig’s first shot came on minute 22, when Emile Forsberg tried from the half moon, but his shot went straight into the hands of Yann Sommer, who made his debut in goal for the Bavarian team.

Bayern’s goal came in the 38th minute and was scored by Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting with a shot with the right leg inside the small area to the center of Serge Gnabry.

The move stemmed from a turnover from Leipzig to which Bayern responded with a quick transition.
