Justin Tipuric will remain with the Ospreys despite rumors that he will move elsewhere.

Reports have suggested that Bristol Bears and French outfit Racing 92 are keen to add the 89-cap Wales international to their rosters for the 2023-24 season.

However, it has been clarified that Tipurich has a contract until the end of the next period.

This means he will remain an Ospreys player until at least the summer of 2024.

The versatile full-back is just two games away from 200 appearances for the Ospreys, having spent his entire senior career in the Llandarcy region.

Hailing from Trebanos, he has been described as an “iconic osprey” and has shown no signs of wanting to leave, while Tipuric is popular with supporters, coaches and other players.

Bristol were said to be on course to become the world ranked open team as their contract was to be extended.

But nothing came of the speculation as the Lions Test man signed a new contract with his home region, extending a bond that dates back to 2009.
