Scaloni, Guardiola and Ancelotti, finalists The Best for Best Fifa Coach

The Argentinian Lionel Scaloni (Argentine national team), the Spanish Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) and the Italian Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid), are the finalists for The Best Men’s Coach of Fifa 2022.

The award recognizes the achievements of coaches in men’s football from August 8, 2021 to December 18, 2022. The winner will be announced at a ceremony in Paris on February 27, 2023.

The three finalists come from the five candidates nominated by a panel of experts at the time. They were selected from this shortlist by an international jury made up of Men’s National Team coaches, Men’s National Team captains, football journalists and fans who voted on the official FIFA website.

Lionel Scaloni led the Argentina team to Qatar’s 2022 FIFA World Cup conquest. In 2021, he also led his country’s national team to win the Copa América.

Carlo Ancelotti won the Spanish League, the Champions League and the European Super Cup with Real Madrid in 2022.
