The film won a Golden Globe, was seen as the prelude to Hollywood awards and had its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, where it won the Fipresci International Critics’ Award for Best Picture.
It also won the Audience Award at the 70th San Sebastián International Film Festival.
In addition to Darín, Amazon Prime Video’s movie stars include Peter Lanzani, Alejandra Flechner, and Norman Briski.
It describes the real state of affairs of prosecutor Julio César Strassera and his team in the famous case of the military junta, which established a regime of state terror with thousands of missing and tortured people.
