Cardiff City continue their quest for much-needed points against Birmingham City tonight.
The Bluebirds extended their unbeaten run to 14 games in all competitions with a defeat at home to Middlesbrough on Saturday, just a goal difference separating them from the bottom three in the league.
Sabri Lamouchi has yet to see a victory for his new team and has scored just one goal since arriving late last month. Indeed, Cardiff’s ineffectiveness in front of goal will need to be addressed if we are to get out of trouble.
January signing Sore Kaba hit with a goal against Boro on Saturday, which was perhaps a small bright spot, and his arrival was complemented by the free dismissal of Connor Wickham.
The 29-year-old footballer signed a short-term contract in the capital and was present at tonight’s game with the team. It remains to be seen whether he will be involved.
