They also explained that the reason for the changes in plans or pricing is related to “ongoing efforts to improve the Netflix experience and investments in high-quality content for subscribers around the world.”

Among other things, they noted that the basic monthly plan will be $3.99; standard $5.99 and premium $7.99.
The rematch is about 50% off the previous price, which ranged from $8 to $14. The measure took effect Feb. 13.

In Spain, Netflix recently stopped allowing people to share the account at an address other than the owner of the account.
Everything points to the platform trying to add new subscribers and eliminate this practice to keep adding content.
