Mexican Open Tennis: De Minaur knocks out local Rodrigo Pacheco

Australian Alex De MinaurThe eighth favorite of the tournament beat the Mexican teenager 6:1 and 6:2 on Tuesday. Rodrigo Pacheco and agreed to the second round of the Mexican Open.

Although he had first-pitch interruptions in the first set, De Minaur landed well in the second; broke in the starting game and finished with four wins in a row win the first set in 42 minutes.

In the second set, the Aussie showed patience by taking advantage of the 17-year-old’s unforced errors, and although he had a break point in the seventh game, he defended well and made a break in the eighth to win.

After the loss of the Spaniards Carlos Alcarazfirst favorite, and British Cameron NorrieFifth, De Minaur, was the only seed to play on Tuesday.

Among the best of the day was the triumph of the Italian Matthew Berrettinitwenty-fourth in the world rankings, 6-0, 1-0 against Slovakia Alex Molkanretired due to injury.

Berrettini scored 100 percent on the first serve, showed variety in his shots and set conditions with a break from the start of the game.

Molchan, 57, was limited by a wrist injury that paved the way for the Italian to take on the Swede in the second round. Elias Ymer.

Ymer, who entered the main draw as a “lucky loser” instead of Norrie, beat the Frenchman 5-7, 6-3, 6-4. Adrian Mannarino; after losing the first set, the Swede set the conditions with his serve.

For Mateo, it was a day of emotions. A couple of hours after the win, his brother Jacopo eliminated the German in his first ATP main draw match. Oscar Otte3-6, 7-6(3), 2-1 until he retired.

The youngest of the Berrettini will play in the best 16 phase against the Portuguese Nuno Borges, who beat the American 6-3, 7-6(3) Nick Chapel.

At other parties this Tuesday, an American Brandon Nakashima beat the German 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 Daniel Altmayr and his compatriot Mackenzie Macdonald knocked out the Italian 6-4, 6-2 Luciano Darderi“happy loser” who took part in the tournament for Alcaraz.
