Jans removed Brenet from FC Twente’s selection after moving to PSV

FC Twente will be without Joshua Brenet in Saturday’s home game against sc Heerenveen. According to the news of TC Tubantia, Enschede football club spokesperson confirmed that the defender was suspended until Monday by coach Ron Jans.

Jans made this decision because he felt Brenet didn’t react very well when he was replaced after playing for more than an hour in Sunday’s 3-1 loss to PSV.

critical

The coach was highly critical of his players. “We lost a lot of balls, especially on the right side. He was also very sloppy defensively and some players took that very lightly.” Brenet plays at right-back.

Jans continues: “As a manager, you can sometimes choose players who are more mission-conscious. Others can try their luck as well.”

Last week, Brenet praised his position at FC Twente, which he says has reinvented the joy of football. As the saying goes, “a gift from heaven”.

Loss of connection

FC Twente struggled for the top positions in the Eredivisie for a long time, but lost touch after a weaker run. Leader Feyenoord has 12 more points. Enschede club is in fifth place in the Eredivisie.
