Hockey players Amsterdam keep leaders SCHC under pressure with late win over HDM

Amsterdam scores with leading SCHC. The capital’s ice hockey players decided in their Wagener stadiums with HDM: 3:1.

Despite not playing a major role at the top this season, HDM has made their major league playoffs for the past two years. Also, the game did not show that there was a team on the field that had already lost four games in a row.

A good result seemed to be in the open until just a few minutes into the end as Pien van Nes canceled Freeke Moes’ opening goal with a stunning penalty.

Important points

Still, Amsterdam managed to win when Felice Albers took advantage of a penalty corner and Marijn Veen went a step further. This voided SCHC, but the contestant will visit Hurley at number four on Sunday.

Amsterdam won at least 7:1 against HDM, again thanks to five penalty corners. Three of them were silvered by Boris Burkhardt.
