Rick Karsdorp is temporarily out of action due to injury. Having just returned from his injury, AS Roma’s right-back had meniscus surgery.
Karsdorp will already miss the double match against his old club Feyenoord in the quarter-finals of the Europa League. It is not known exactly how long it will take to recover. Karsdorp is currently in the Swiss clinic where he still has surgery.
Karsdorp was eliminated from AS Roma’s European match against Real Sociedad last Thursday. He was also seriously injured shortly after joining Rome from Feyenoord in 2017.

Karsdorp also missed a few games due to a big argument with coach José Mourinho. It fell out of favor with the Portuguese a few weeks before the winter break.
At the time, Mourinho criticized Karsdorp’s attitude for disappointing the team. Karsdorp came as a substitute against Sassuolo and was out of position one goal ahead.
It seemed to herald his departure from Rome, but in the end Mourinho took pity on him. Since then, Karsdorp has made six appearances.
