During the Wimbledon tournament, Russians and Belarusians can play

The third big slams of the season, the only one played on grass, banned the entry of these players last year due to the invasion of Ukrainewhich resulted in the ATP and the WTA has not awarded points to the whole English club and the British Tennis Federation, which organizes the tournament.

Wimbledon explained that the statement of support for the Russian invasion of Ukraine are prohibited and that players who receive money from the Russian or Belarusian state, including companies controlled by these governments, will be banned.

To come to this decision, the whole English club has taken into account the individual vision of athletes, in combination with the UK government, the ATP, the WTA, the ITF (international tennis federation) and the LTA (English federation).
