The COB Ethics Committee also imposed suspension of any sporting activity for 90 days, considering that his statements “promote and incite violence.”
Sanction starts to apply from February 3the date on which temporarily suspended hence Wallace will be able to play volleyball again in May and could go back to choosing from February 2024.

The controversy flared when, in late January, Wallace, a prominent supporter of the former president, Jair Bolsonarothe leader of the Brazilian far right, posted a photo of a firearm on his account Instagram.
So one of his 370,000 followers asked him, would use a gun to shoot President Lula in the face and he answered by doing poll in which he answered this question.
Wallace deleted the controversial poll hours after it was posted, but the Brazilian government and other authorities action has been announced.
The event took place three weeks after serious terrorist attacks by thousands of far-right radicals against headquarters of the President, Parliament and the Supreme Court, in an attempt to overthrow Lula who has won Bolsonaro in the October elections last year.
