Urshela and Solano continue at their teams star table

As has been the custom in recent seasons, Colombia is already starting to deliver its grain of sand in the Majors. Ours are getting into the rhythm and little by little they have earned a place in the star squads of their respective teams.

Such is the case with players like Dónovan Solano and Giovanny Urshela, who had another good passage this weekend in the lineups of the Minnesota Twins and Los Angeles Angels respectively. Nabil Crismatt and Meibrys Viloria also came into action.

Astros 5-1 twins

The defending champion shrugged off his poor walk at the start of the season and with four RBIs from Chas McCormick, they managed to win the final game of the series 5-1 against the Minnesota Twins.

Second win in only seven games for the Houston Astros who found the differential contribution of Mauricio Dubón for this game, who had two hits and scored two runs. Likewise, Hunter Brown took the win with seven innings completed, allowing two hits and a single out. Not to mention, he struckout seven.

Colombian Dóovan Solano saved the ballots in the Twins, as he was the promoter of the single stripe of Minnesota’s – he signed Byron Buxton -. The man from Barranquilla went 4-1 with a .300 average.

Blue Jays 12-11 Angels

North American pitcher Timothy Gerard Mayza saved his team’s intentions and fired Shohei Ohtani with the bases loaded to secure the Toronto Blue Jays’ embarrassing tenth-inning victory over the favored Los Angeles Angels (12- 11).

There was no performance for the Japanese on the verge of going out and, with three of his teammates still in circulation, he was dominated by the fast balls of the American pitcher who scored the save. Matt Chapman and Kevin Kiermaier grabbed all the spotlight for the evening.

The first hit a home run, stole a base, scored two runs and batted in five. While the second brought in a triple, a double, a run and five RBIs.

Giovanny Urshela switched between second and third base. He went 5-3, with one run scored and a .364 batting average.

Sailors 6-7 Watchmen

When everything at Progressive Field looked like a visiting victory, Dominican José Ramírez avoided contact with catcher Cal Raleigh and called the comeback for the Cleveland Guardians 7-6 against the Seattle Mariners.

Discreet contribution for Meibrys Viloria from Cartagena, who walked in his lone at bat to the woods.

Padres 10-2 Braves

The San Diego Padres overwhelmed the Atlanta Braves this weekend by a score of 10-2 at SunTrust Park in an authentic participation from veteran Dominican batsman Nelson Cruz.

The historic baseball player became the second-oldest player to hit a home run with the San Diego squad, according to MLB statistics. Staying behind Rickey Henderson for a day (October 4, 2001). Cruz, 3-4, had a home run, a double, two runs scored and six RBIs.

Barranquilla’s Nabil Crismatt jumped the mound to put out a fire from Domingo Tapia and in two innings he allowed just one hit and retired two batters.
