The hearing, before a judge of control, served for the second local prosecutor of Manizales to recount the events involving the players Guy Esteban Garcia Jimenez, Santiago Mera and Debinson Mateusfor alleged extortion of the student Juliana Echeverry table.
According to the public prosecutor, one of those involved found a mobile phone in a nightclub. Days later, a man called her and told her how much he would give her to return the device, to which the student, who has Spanish nationality, replied that she could only 100,000 pesos.
After several demands, the man and student agreed to provide 400,000 pesos. The public prosecutor indicated that during the negotiations, the student stated that she heard the voices of other men.
The delivery of the money in exchange for the mobile phone was scheduled for April 9, the date Juliana Echeverry Mesa had already filed a complaint with the Police Gaula, for which several agents accompanied her to a sector called El Cable.
