The Solano Twins take on the White Sox

They get into the rhythm. The Minnesota Twins again showed good baseball at Target Field and won the three-game series against the Chicago White Sox with the participation of Colombian Dónovan Solano.

What had been a very positive start for the visiting franchise – they won the first game (4-3) last Monday – ended up being a good opportunity for the Minnesota team, who corrected their mistakes along the way and fulfilled both subsequent commitments. Tuesday by 4-3 and this Wednesday by 3-1.

It was a pitching war. North American pitcher Sonny Gray was the one to lead the win, having played in five blank episodes. He gave up only three hits and walked two. A job well filled by his teammates Jorge Alcalá, Jorge López and Griffin Jax, who also gave up no earned runs – only Jhoan Duran delivered one (home run) in the twilight of the game.

A completely different scenario for Lucas Giolito, who took the loss in a showdown in which he spent six innings on the mound, giving up five hits, one run, two walks and seven strikeouts.

Colombian baseball player Donovan Solano performed well, going 2-for-5 with two hits. He hits .333 and had his 11th hit in just 12 games and 33 at-bats.

American Ryan Jeffers joined him on his adventure with a 4-2, two hits and two runs.
