Jorge Messi, father and representative of Leo Messi, assured that the Argentine star “would like” to return to Barcelona this summer, after meeting on Monday with the president of the Barcelona entity, Joan Laporta.
Messi’s father went to Laporta’s house to talk for about half an hour about the future of his son, who has decided not to renew for PSG and who has a million dollar bid to play in Saudi Arabia.
However, Jorge Messi confessed that the family would like to return to Barcelona, something that is happening in the first place as LaLiga approves the feasibility plan for the Barca club for the next two seasons.
“I don’t know yet” or “we have to talk about a lot of things,” Messi’s father replied when the journalists asked him whether the return of Rosario’s crack could practically be taken for granted.
In any case, Jorge Messi, who made clear his son’s intention to return to Barça, announced that the negotiations will not take longer than necessary and that the final decision should be made “soon”.
