Rayo Vallecano does not rule out Falcao’s continuity next season

The future of Colombian Radamel Falcao could remain linked to Rayo Vallecano for one more season, because apart from the contract he has until 2024, as board sources told EFE on Tuesday, the club is not ruling out one season to continue. more campaign to complement Raúl De Tomás and another striker who can join the side.

Falcao joined Rayo Vallecano in September 2021 after spending time at Galatasaray and in his two seasons with the Madrid club, he made 54 appearances, including 13 as a starter, scoring eight goals.

The burden of injuries, especially in the past season, reduced the continuity in the game of the Colombian, who had been integrated into the group since his arrival and took on his subordinate role within the squad.

The departure of Sergio Camello, who returns to Atlético de Madrid after his loan, means that Falcao, Raúl de Tomás and Randy Nteka, who returns to Elche after his loan, will be the only Rayo Vallecano players for their attack next season.
