Two-time Tour champion and great contender, Tadej Pogacartook the stage victory after driving 133.5 km from Belfort, beating Austrian Felix Gall to take his second victory in this year’s race.

Overall, Jumbo-Visma’s Wingegaard leads Pogacar by seven minutes and 29 seconds, while his Team Emirates teammate adam yates, occupies the third position, 10:56 behind the head.

Italian Giulio Ciccone will keep the Alpine polka dot jersey and the Belgian jersey Jasper Phillipsen will win the green jersey on points when they cross the finish line in Paris on Sunday.
