Thibault Courtois and Eder Militao undergo successful surgery

In a press release, Real Madrid stated that Courtois’ operation was performed by Dr. Manuel Leyes “under the supervision of the medical service” of the Madrid club itself.

So, Real Madrid clarified that the Belgian goalkeeper “will begin the recovery process in the coming days.”

Courtois suffered this injury on 10 August during a training session, as a result of which Kepa Arrizabalaga was signed as a replacement.
