Choriceros condemns the aggression against Volpi and demands sanctions

The Toluca Sports Club has asked the Mexican Football Federation to investigate the provocation and aggression suffered by goalkeeper Thiago Volpi at the end of the game against Gallos Blancos.

Aggression towards our goalkeeper Thiago Volpi is unacceptable under any circumstances. For this reason, the Board of Directors of the Deportivo Toluca football club submitted this Monday a request for an investigation to the FMF Disciplinary Commission.

All this supports the initiatives of LIGA MX so that such events are not repeated, are sanctioned and it is clear that in our institution, as in football, there is no place for violence.
