Pumas coach, Argentinean Antonio Mohamed, received a financial fine for wearing a T-shirt with the team’s image. Virgin of Guadalupe during the Apertura tournament match, which his team lost at home to Monterrey with a score of 0–1.
The Mexican Football Federation’s disciplinary commission announced a fine for the 53-year-old coach, although it did not specify the amount.
The Federation prohibits players or members of the coaching staff from displaying tattoos or images of matches, political or commercial campaigns, as well as slogans, advertising (except for authorized trademarks), political, religious or personal messages.

Mohamed wore a shirt with the image of the Virgin Mary, and when asked at a press conference what his opinion was on the possibility of sanctions, he answered with a straight face: “No.”
