Bayern Munich suffered a defeat (8-0) against Darmstadt in a match in which they suffered in the first half and then passed the ball and in which Harry Kane scored a beautiful goal from the center of the field, alongside two others with which he scored his second triple in the Bundesliga.
The first half was eventful, with three clearances marking the match and it was only towards the end, when it was down to one man, that Bayern got the impression of being in control of the pitch. In the second he showed no mercy and scored eight goals, which could have been more.
The only thing Harry Kane missed: conversion from midfield. What a goal, please.pic.twitter.com/miMGxYLlOu

The first expulsion took place in the 4th minute, when Joshua Kimmich had to leave the field with a straight red card for a foul against Marvin Mehlem in the half-moon, as the last defender. Kimmich had controlled the ball and lost it to Mehlem, and responded with a light tug on the opponent’s shirt.
After Kimmich’s expulsion, a confused phase followed in which Bayern had some arrivals but no control. The best was a volley from Harry Kane in the 13th minute, to which goalkeeper Marcel Schuhen responded with a great save and conceded a corner.
In the 20th minute, the second expulsion took place when Gjasula saw a straight red card after a foul against Konrad Laimer to cut off a good Bayern counter-attack led by Leroy Sané near the area.
The match continued to be in disarray, with sporadic arrivals from both teams. Bayern’s best came in the 30th minute from Kingsley Coman, with a deflected shot from a good position after a great pass from Jamal Musiala.
Mehlem came close to scaring Bayern in a counter-attack that culminated with a shot at the near post in the area, to which Neuer responded with a great foot save, showing he is back.
The third exclusion came in the 41st minute. The victim was Maglica for a foul against Kane, almost in the same spot where Gjasula had knocked Laimer down. Bayern then had several chances, including a goal from Sané that was disallowed for offside.
The teams went into halftime without a goal but with a new record, as there had never before been three evictions in the first half of a Bundeliga match.
Bayern started to take control with one man down and at the start of the second half the game was mainly played near Darmstadt. The goal came in the 50th minute, with Kane’s header from Noussir Mazraoui’s cross from the right.
The match seemed to have gone completely out of balance. Bayern pressed and the second goal came in the 56th minute when Sané put his left foot after a Laimer cross.
Bayern continued with an overwhelming plan and in the 59th minute Musiala squandered a great chance, but a minute later he scored with a half-moon shot after a short free-kick from the left.
What followed next was at least as unusual as the three expulsions in the first half. The goals kept coming like a waterfall. In the 64th minute Sané scored from outside the penalty area, in the 69th Kane scored from the center of the field when he saw Schuhen ahead, in the 71st Thomas Müller from a Mazraoui cross, in the 66th Musiala after a wall with Müller and in the 88th Kane completed his hat-trick after a great move by Sané.
However, the result can be somewhat misleading, as Bayern could only put forward all its power when it found itself in numerical superiority and leaves behind a disturbing detail: the expulsion of Kimich, who will not be able to play against Borussia Dortmund the next matchday.
