Cardiff Rugby have announced that their team will face the DHL Stormers at the Arms Park on Friday night.

Welsh international Ellis Jenkins is aiming to make his 100th Rugby Championship appearance and will do so at full-back. It will be his 140th game for Cardiff.

The back row remains unchanged, with Jenkins joining Lopeti Timani and Alex Mann. Corey Domachowski returns to the starting line-up, with Will Davies-King and Liam Belcher filling the rest of the front row. Seb Davies and Rory Thornton form the second row, completing the group.

There are two changes to the defense that drew with Zebre last week, with Ellis Bevan taking over the number nine shirt after Tomos Williams was sidelined with a short-term injury. He plays in the center of the field with Tinus de Beer.

In midfield, Willis Halaholo replaces Ray Lee-Lo, while Ben Thomas remains in the center. Welsh international Mason Grady is on one wing and Harry Millard on the opposite. Cameron Winnett completes the starting XV at full-back.

Cardiff manager Matt Sherratt gave his opinion on the team: “We were disappointed with the draw last week and felt the players deserved more. However, this is sport and you don’t always get what you deserve.

“The way the game ended, the guys really tried to get back on the field.”
