The estimated time for his recovery was then five months.

The Australian Open announced on October 11 that Nadal would enter the draw for the season’s first Grand Slam in Melbourne, an event he won in 2009 and 2022, days after the tennis player released a video in which he saw training him on a circuit at his academy in Manacor (Mallorca).

The 37-year-old Nadal would not set a date for his return to competition on November 15, although he stated that he was making good progress after his injury and that he knew he would return “to play tennis one day”. who at one point doubted his recovery.
