The Disciplinary Commission of Liga MX decided to impose financial sanctions on Club America player Julián Andrés Quiñones Quiñones.
He was found to have inappropriately celebrated a goal during the second leg of the Liga MX quarter-final of the 2023 Apertura tournament between Club America and Leon.
Thus, with his celebration, he violated the Sanctions Rules of the Mexican Football Federation, in particular Article 43, which mentions the following:
