After losing in Honduras and needing penalties to advance to the 2024 Copa América, Tricolor dropped 8.73 points and was in twelfth place in the October rankings.

Those led by Jimmy Lozano can be found in 14th place, surpassed by Uruguay, who defeated Lionel Messi’s undefeated Argentina in the South American qualifiers and moved to 11th place, also putting the Charrúas ahead of the United States and Morocco.

The Stars and Stripes team, despite beating Trinidad and Tobago at the end of the quarter in the Nations League, remains the best Concacaf team on the list.

The drop is also notable in Brazil, which leaves the top 3 and is already in fifth place after losing both matches in the 2026 Conmebol World Cup qualifiers.
