NFL: Ravens, Eagles and Cowboys join 49ers in playoffs

The Baltimore Ravens in the American Conference (AFC) and the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys in the National Conference (NFC) joined the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL playoffs.

With the seeding of the Cuervos, who defeated the Jaguares 23-7 on Sunday, there are six open spots in the AFC for the postseason.

Although Baltimore has already secured its spot, it has not yet secured the North Division championship, which it leads with 11 wins and three losses against Cleveland, which continues with a 9-5 season.

Besides the Browns, there are two AFC teams looking for Cuervos: Miami with a 10-4 season, one win more than champion Kansas City, at 9-5.

Five teams with identical records of eight wins and six losses will compete for the following three spots: Jacksonville, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Houston and Buffalo; and two with 7-7 records, Pittsburgh and Denver.

After wins against the Chiefs and Cowboys in Weeks 14 and 15, the Bills appear to have the momentum to clinch one of those spots.

The case is similar to that of Bengalíess, who, despite the defeat of Bengalíess, will reach the end of the year with the momentum that the victories in the last three weeks have given to Joe Burrow, their starting quarterback, who was replaced by Jake Browning.

In the National Conference, the 49ers remain in first place with 11 wins and three losses, ahead of a trio of franchises that follow them with a 10-4 record: Águilas, already classified; Detroit, one win away from the playoffs; and Vaqueros, also secured a spot in the postseason.

Dallas, which was defeated 31-10 by Buffalo last Sunday, and Philadelphia, which lost 17-20 to Seattle last Monday, managed to qualify despite their losses.

Both are competing for first place in the NFC East, a division in which Águilas maintains the top spot over Vaqueros thanks to the best winning percentage against conference rivals.

Five teams with seven wins and seven losses will compete for the remaining three spots; Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota, Los Angeles, Seattle and New Orleans.

Despite the retirement of Tom Brady in February 2023, the Buccaneers have managed to remain competitive this season with Baker Mayfield at the helm. They picked up wins in weeks 13, 14 and 15, giving them plenty of opportunities to advance. until the start of the postseason.
