The curse is over!
Detroit Pistons were imposed this Saturday at Arena Pequena César for the Toronto Raptors (127-129) to end this historic bad streak of 28 consecutive defeats this season, the longest in the history of the NBA in a campaign, thanks to Cade Cunningham’s great performance.
Never before has an NBA franchise suffered so many consecutive losses in one season. The record of 28 consecutive stumbles was shared with the Philadelphia 76ers, but the “Sixers” pulled it off at the end and beginning of the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
Cade Cunningham scored 30 points with 12 assists, one steal and zero turnovers in today’s win.
He is the second player in franchise history with at least 30 PTS, 12 AST and zero TO in a game (Chauncey Billups, 3/30/07) and is the 30th such achievement in NBA history. pic.twitter.com/u2SrD8tNqk

“Honor” is therefore the ultimate for some Pistons who, although they are still in serious trouble, will start 2024 with a better feeling thanks to this victory, about which the point guard had a lot to say Cunningham, author of 30 points, 12 assists and 3 rebounds.
