NFL: Colts’ Drew Ogletree arrested on domestic violence charges

Drew Ogletree Tight end for Indianapolis Colts arrested this Friday in Hendricks County, Indiana on domestic violence charges.

Ogletree was arrested and charged with two felonies. Domestic violence in the presence of a child under 16 and domestic violence resulted in moderate bodily harm, according to state data.

These are level six felonies, punishable by up to two and a half years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

According to documents, the alleged incident occurred Tuesday in Hendricks County, Indianapolis. Officers responding to a report of domestic violence observed that the victim was in obvious pain and unable to move.

The victim said the argument started when she saw Ogletree’s phone and realized he was being unfaithful, the affidavit said. According to statements from her and the NFL player, she tried to hit him, but he did not hit her.

The woman told police that Ogletree “slammed her body,” while the tight end claimed he simply pushed her to the ground.
