Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, captain of the French national team, world champions Russia 2018, signed Los Angeles FC to the MLS from Tottenham Hotspur of the Premier League, the American club announced.

The 37-year-old Lloris signed for one season with the option of two more seasons and will immediately join his Los Angeles FC discipline for the 2024 academic year, which starts in February.
The Nice-born goalkeeper, who was also captain and starter of the French team that finished second in the world rankings QatarHouve last year, lost importance at Tottenham, the club where he played for eleven seasons.
The Italian Guglielmo Vicari Hello Englishman Fraser Forster had passed him for Lloris at Spurs Ange Postecoglou.
The French goalkeeper’s contract with the London club expired at the end of this season.

Los Angeles FC were MLS champions in the 2022 season and a finalist in 2023. They are also the current finalists in the Concacaf Champions League.
