At the Atlantic Football League’s best of the year awards ceremony, they scored a safety ‘goal’. An individual involved, who apparently is not part of the department’s amateur soccer community, entered the event and stole a briefcase containing a computer, a wallet and some keys.
Amid the large group of children and coaches gathered in Combarranquilla Country, the alleged thief circulated with the suitcase in his possession without arousing suspicion. He walked quietly among a number of attendees and left the room without encountering any opposition.
It was exactly 5:26 in the afternoon when the robbery took place. The ‘Afternoon of the Best’ was already over.
Fortunately, everything was recorded on the security cameras at the compensation fund’s northern headquarters. The police are already on the trail of the man, whose face is circulating on social networks.
The wallet inside the backpack contained credit cards that the person tried to use, but they had already been blocked. He also tried to trade the computer at a pawn shop.
