Inter had 72 points, two behind leaders AC Milan by the loss. There are still four rounds to go in the Italian Championship.
The reigning champion took the lead very early in Bologna. De Vrij and Dumfries put pressure on Inter at the bottom and Ivan Perisic scored the first goal in the third minute.
Bologna, where Jerdy Schouten played the entire match, still won 1-1 in the first half thanks to a header from Marko Arnautovic.
In the second half, Inter looked for a second goal, but things went wrong on the other side. Goalkeeper Radu missed the goal and the ball came back in the 81st minute. Nicola Sansone was awake and taking advantage. The guests also failed to score in long overtime.
Atalanta has only one point left in the game against Turin: 4-4. After Torino’s opening goal by Antonio Sanabria, the flanks of Marten de Roon and Hans Hateboer came to 2-1 thanks to kicks by Luís Muriel (penalty kick) and De Roon.
Torino lost 2-4 with two shots on goal from Sasa Lukic and an own goal from Remo Freuler. Atalanta is still back. Mario Pasalic gave a pass from Muriel, who tied with his second penalty. Teun Koopmeiners lost form and was kidnapped at the Bergamo club.
Atalanta drew 55 points, one less than Lazio and Fiorentina. The club from Florence lost 4-0 at home to Udinese in the early evening. Pablo Marí, Gerard Deulofeu, Walace and Iyenoma Udogie scored for Turin, where Bram Nuytinck played the entire game and Marvin Zeegelaar stayed on the bench.
