06:48 NAC Breda coach De Graaf reveals that he is clean after tumor

NAC Breda coach Edwin de Graaf has been released from hospital, the club of the Keuken Kampioensdivision reports Friday evening. Last year, a tumor was discovered in Hagenaar, 42.

De Graaf went under the knife at the end of November to remove the tumor and was already positive about his recovery. “Luckily we caught him early and he can be treated well. I don’t feel sick.”

The NAC coach did not know at the time when and how often he would go out, but De Graaf did not miss a single game. The former midfielder was also on the bench against TOP Oss on Friday (3-0 win).

Due to the big win, De Graaf and NAC go to the promotion play-offs of the Eredivisie. The “Pearl of the South” is currently eighth in the ranking of culinary champions, enough for a top position.

De Graaf is working on his first job as head coach of NAC. The former player of RBC, Feyenoord, ADO Den Haag, NAC, Excelsior and Scottish Hibernian was previously an assistant coach at ADO and NAC.
