It seems that Arsenal cannot find a place in the Champions League for next season. The London club lost to Newcastle United (2-0) on Monday and failed to dethrone Tottenham Hotspur from fourth place. In Serie A, Juventus dominated SS Lazio at halftime.
The gap between Arsenal and Tottenham is now two points, one round to go. The top 4 teams in the Premier League will qualify for the Champions League next season.
Arsenal were left behind shortly after the break. To clear the ball, Ben White coached the ball behind his own goalkeeper. Bruno Guimarães closed the game in the 85th minute in Newcastle’s favour.
Arsenal will face Everton in their final game of the season at home on Sunday and may still need points to avoid relegation. Tottenham visited Norwich City, which had recently been relegated.

At Juventus, Giorgio Chiellini made a substitution in the eighteenth minute.
37-year-old Chiellini leaves ‘The Old Lady’
The last home game of the season for Juventus was mainly about saying goodbye to Giorgio Chiellini. The 37-year-old defender announced last week that he was leaving ‘De Oude Dame’ despite a two-year contract.
Chiellini was taken out of the game in the 18th minute at the Allianz Stadium. His seventeen minutes represent seventeen seasons he played for the club. Matthijs received a standing ovation from the other players and the crowd during the game against Lazio before making way for Ligt.
Juventus were leading 1-0 when Chiellini entered the game with a goal from Dusan Vlahovic. Álvaro Morata, who scored the first goal, increased the lead to two before halftime. An own goal by Alex Sandro in the 51st minute made it 2-1. Sergey Milinkovi-Savic took the lead in the sixth minute of extra time.
Juventus knew before the penultimate round of play that they would finish fourth in Serie A, where they had confidence in Champions League football. Lazio are in fifth place, with a goal difference of three points, better than number six AS Roma.
