Ajax player Ryan Gravenberch has switched to Bayern Munich. The 20-year-old midfielder signed a five-year contract with the German national champion who paid Ajax a transfer fee of up to 24.5 million euros.
With a contract with Ajax until mid-2023, Gravenberch will succeed teammate Noussair Mazraoui to Munich. Mazraoui will leave Amsterdam on a free transfer this summer. Earlier this week, he signed a four-year contract with right-back Bayern.
The youngest high society of Ajax
After completing the Amsterdam youth academy, Gravenberch became Ajax’s youngest debutant when he came on as a substitute against PSV on days 16 and 130 in September 2018. He played a total of 103 official matches for Ajax, scored twelve goals and provided thirteen assists.
Three-time national champion at Ajax, Gravenberch has now played ten international matches for him.
