Millonarios 0, Nacional 0: the blues ran out of time

End, end, nothing more. The time for the blues is over in the semifinal home run A. They are unlikely to qualify for the final series for the title and coach Alberto Gamero added another elimination. Unable to score a sad goal, Millonarios tied 0-0 against Atlético Nacional, this Saturday at the El Campín stadium, in the fifth round of the League’s semi-finals.

The ambassador’s box, which has claimed so much as Junior burned time in last Wednesday’s 0-0, once again emptied at home and was out of the race for the highest accolade.

The purslane will set their standings for Wednesday’s final against Junior, who defeated Bucaramanga 1-0 and is still very much alive. The team led by Hernán Darío Herrera will play the final in case of a win or a draw with ‘El Tiburón’. Millionaires play against the leopard team in a match that only matters for the reclassification table.

In the first half, the Bogotanos went in search of the goal led by midfielders David Silva and Daniel Ruiz, 20 years old, who found themselves in front of a wall: the Argentine central defender Emanuel Olivera who took all the balls that came out of the area and who almost all won heads-up with their rivals.

However, ‘el Embajador’ struggled to create chances in the second half, although they pushed through to the end to stay alive, but failed to overcome the resistance of goalkeeper Kevin Mier.

Junior defeated Atlético Bucaramanga 1-0 in the early hours with a goal from striker Miguel Borja, who took advantage of a cross from Argentinian Fabián Sambueza with a header.

Barranquilla’s team, led by Argentinian Juan Cruz Real, dominated the game and took the three points, making it eight units and second in the group behind Atlético Nacional.

Bucaramanga has already been eliminated because it is last in the zone with three points.

Next Sunday, the Group B matches between Independiente Medellín and Tolima and between Envigado and La Equidad will be played.
