Serena Williams does not know how long she will continue to play tennis. The 23-time Grand Slam winner declined to comment on his future on Tuesday following his successful return to Eastbourne.
Williams, 40, is back in the grass court tournament after a year of injury. He competed in the doubles with Ounce Jabeur and won the championship with his Tunisian partner.
When asked about his future, Williams said: “I look at it literally every day. After my hamstring injury, I really took my time. Am I still playing next year? I really don’t know yet,” Williams said.
“I love tennis, otherwise I wouldn’t be here. But I also love what I’m building with Serena Ventures on the tennis court.” Williams helps underprivileged people in the community with her foundation.

Williams prepares for Wimbledon
Williams will join Wimbledon next week with a wild card. He announced on Instagram last week that he was competing in the Grand Slam tournament, which he won seven times.
Williams retired from Wimbledon last year with a leg injury. The American has not been on the track since and is now world number 1,204.
Wimbledon starts on Monday. Last year, Novak Djokovic and now retired Ashleigh Barty were the top tennis players on the London pitch.
