Wolverhampton takes Portuguese international Gonçalo Guedes from Valencia

Portuguese international Goncalo Guedes is leaving Valencia after five seasons to represent Wolverhampton’s English coach, coached by compatriot Bruno Lage, announced the emblem of the Spanish football league on Monday.

“Valencia CF and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club reached an agreement on Monday August 8 on the transfer of Gonçalo Guedes to the English club”Valencia wrote in a statement, without advancing the amounts involved in the deal.


The former Benfica player joined the crest che in 2017, coming from Paris Saint Germain, France, with 198 appearances in all competitions and a total of 40 goals, along with 32 assists.

In Wolves, the Portuguese shares the dressing room 32 times with compatriots José Sá, Nélson Semedo, Toti Gomes, Rúben Neves, João Moutinho, Bruno Jordão, Pedro Neto, Daniel Podence and Chiquinho.
