This Friday saw the draw that defined the pool composition of the first stage of the UEFA Europa League, which was advanced in the city of Istanbul, Turkey.
32 football teams were divided into 8 groups with 4 squads each, in which they will face each other from September 8 to November 3.
The first from each zone will receive a direct ticket to the round of 16 of the tournament. The runners-up advance to the knockout round of the play-offs, where they face one of eight UEFA Champions League clubs that have finished third in their group. The third teams play in the UEFA Europa Conference League, where they play against the second in each group of this competition in the knockout round of the play-offs.
