Twitter users can now insert their own disclaimers in photos and videos –

Twitter released a new feature Friday that allows users to hide photos and videos behind warnings about nudity, violence and other “sensitive” content.

Users can add a disclaimer to a post by adding a photo or video to the tweet. Then tap on it and you will have the option to add one or more alerts.

If a warning is added, the photo or video will be unrecognizable to other users. To make the photo and video visible, the user has to tap on it.

The warning has different categories such as violence, shocking images and nudity. Spoiler alert option is not available. Twitter users can somehow avoid spoilers by hiding certain words and hashtags.
