Apple TV users can now watch Major League Soccer games with MLS Season Pass

Today, Apple launched the MLS Season Pass in more than 100 territories, giving football fans access to all MLS games, Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs and Leagues Cup, as well as original programming. Remarkably, there is no power outage, so subscribers can watch games on or off the market. The 2023 MLS season starts on February 25.

The ten-year agreement between Major League Soccer and Apple is important to both companies because it provides a unique experience for a large fan base. For the 2022 MLS Cup, the competition attracted the largest audience in 25 years, with 2.155 million viewers on Fox and Univision in the US. If Apple’s new signing proves successful, there’s a chance other MLS services will offer and major sports leagues will consider similar offerings in the future. The MLS Season Pass is now available in the Apple TV app for $14.99 per month or $99 per season. With Apple Family Sharing, up to six members can share their membership using their own Apple ID and password.

Apple TV+ subscribers get a discounted price of $12.99 per month or $79 per season. By comparison, NBA League Pass costs $14.99 per month or $99 per season. ESPN+ streams up to 350 sold-out MLS games for $9.99/month.

What does the MLS Season Pass include?

The MLS Season Pass is available through the Apple TV app on Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, set-top boxes, game consoles, and on the web (tv.apple.com). 2023 Major League Soccer Season – Complete Schedule
