Practice your pitch with Kleiner Perkins and Sequoia Capital on TechCrunch Live

TechCrunch Live is recording live today and tomorrow at 12:00 PDT and you are invited to introduce your startup. It’s called Pitch Practice and should be self-explanatory. Participants have the opportunity to practice their pitch by pitching it to another founder and investor. This week’s guests are fantastic too. You want their feedback on your launch.

Participants have two minutes to introduce their startup to guests and receive four minutes of feedback. We do not look at your company itself, but at your story, your presentation structure and your personal behaviour. This is not a competition. Everyone wins with feedback from some of the best investors and founders.

First, on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m., Alex Wilhelm, editor-in-chief and co-host of TC+, speaks with Mamoon Hamid, partner at Kleiner Perkins, and Arianna Huffington, founder and CEO of Thrive Global. Longtime veterans navigating the waters of Silicon Valley, the two can speak directly to the founders concerned about the future. In addition, the Huffington-based company focuses on improving employee well-being, which in itself is a hot topic with uncertainty in the air.

TechCrunch Senior Security Editor Zack Whittaker speaks Thursday at noon with Sequoia partner Andrew Reed and Vanta co-founder and CEO Christina Cacioppo. Cacioppo launched Vanta in 2016 and has raised $202.95 million to date, including a $150 million Series B ending in October 2022.

How to do pitch training:

We are looking for startup founders who have a well-founded pitch for an early-stage startup.

Not selected for tonight’s show? No problem; try next week. This segment is a regular part of TechCrunch Live.
