Sony announces first games playable with PlayStation Plus

Sony has released a list of games that can be played by people who purchase a PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium membership. Twelve PlayStation 5 games have been announced for the service. Ghost of Tsushima Director EditI spirits of the devil and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles MoralesI

PlayStation Plus will be renewed from June 22. Sony’s subscription service has different levels. The two most expensive variants (Extra and Premium) give members access to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 game library.

There are 400 games in this games list, but not all games have been announced yet. Here are all the PS5 games on the list:

• Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

• Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
• Control: Ultimate Edition

The list also includes games that were previously on PlayStation 4. These can be downloaded on PS4 and PS5 with a subscription and at no extra cost. This includes kinsmanI god of warI Horizon Zero Dawn and Red Dead Redemption 2I

Premium offers classics and demos

With the most expensive PlayStation Plus subscription, you also get access to classic games. These are the games released on PS1, PS2, and PS3. Some titles will also be added for portable PSP. The list of classics includes titles such as: siphon filterI tekken 2I symbol and infamousI

With a premium membership, members can also access demos of new games. It can be played for up to two hours after which people can buy the entire game. Trial progress is then carried over to the full game. Sony has tentatively announced demo versions. New PlayStation Plus subscriptions will be distributed as follows:

• PlayStation Plus Essential ($8.99/month/$60/year): Access to online multiplayer, PS Store discounts, and access to two PS4 games and one PS5 game per month.
• PlayStation Plus Extra: ($13.99/month / $99.99/year): Access a catalog of hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games for download, along with everything in Essential.
• PlayStation Plus Premium: ($16.99/month / $119.99/year): Everything from other subscriptions, plus game demos and access to streaming services featuring classic PlayStation games.
