Technology brand Nothing unveils its first smartphone

There’s nothing like a new gadget maker that was founded last year by Carl Pei, co-founder of the popular Chinese phone brand OnePlus in 2013. Last year, nothing came out with its first gadget: wireless earbuds. However, the company’s flagship product is a phone that will be launched on July 12. The startup showed the back of this Nothing Phone 1 on social media today.

The new photo shows that the Nothing phone will not get a completely transparent housing as the company previously claimed. However, the contours of some parts, such as the coil for wireless charging, can be seen on the back. The designer of the Nothing phone recently told Wallpaper magazine that the design is meant to “highlight interesting components”.

On the back of the device are two cameras, the details of which are not yet known. Separate volume buttons appear on the straight edges. The phone is also known to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, but it is not yet clear which chip it is.
